Returns

We are so confident you will be delighted with your purchase from Holy Funk that we are proud to offer you a 14 day money back guarantee on all purchases made from Holy Funk.   

Where a product is within 14 days of the purchaser receiving the item/s and a refund is requested, Holy Funk will refund the original product purchase price. Please note that delivery charges and cost to return the product/s are not refunded to the customer. Once a product has been shipped, even if it has not yet arrived at its intended destination, shipping costs are not refunded to the customer. In the event that shipping is free, the shipping costs incurred to deliver the order to the customer will be deducted from the from the final refund.

All returns must be in their original packaging and present in a way that would allow Holy Funk to resell the product. Unfortunately we cannot accept any returns where the original packaging has been ripped, damaged or discarded.

Upon receipt of the returned goods, we will inspect your product and a refund will be processed within 5 working days. Please email: info@holyfunk.com.au to initiate a product return.

Returns, exchanges and refunds are considered void 60 days from the purchase date if the product/s remain uncollected or the customer delays the delivery date, where a product is in stock and/or available for pick up or delivery. Customers bear the responsibility of any futile charges that arise (where the pick-up is booked but the consignment is not available for collection at the agreed time period). Holy Funk reserves the right to deduct the merchant fee relating to the initial purchase transaction, from the final refund. 

The majority of Holy Funk's range is hand made and not mass produced off a production line. There is something special about hand made products, and this style of craftsmanship can on occasions bring rise to slight imperfections. Slight imperfections in hand made furniture should be embraced and display a unique fingerprint on your product which will ultimately last longer and provide honourable service for many years to come. 

Defects

Should a product arrive faulty or defective upon receipt, Holy Funk will repair the defect free of charge. Where a product is deemed, by Holy Funk, to be in a state of un-repair or the damage considered major, we will replace the product free of charge to the customer. If a replacement product is not available, the customer, upon returning the product, will receive a full refund. The freight costs incurred to return a damaged or defective product will not be charged or payable by the customer. If a replacement product is in stock and the customer declines the offer to have their product either repaired and/or replaced, this would then fall under our returns policy.

Damaged goods must be notified to Holy Funk within 7 days of receiving your goods and Holy Funk may require the customer to provide proof of damage. Once notified of a defective product, Holy Funk customer service will be in contact to initiate a resolution and where appropriate, organise the collection and return of the product at an agreed and convenient time.

Where a product is purchased or picked up directly from our warehouse, the customer is required to return the product to Holy Funk to initiate a warranty claim. Natural wood markings and wood variations are not considered defects and do not fall under our defects policy. All returned goods must be in their original packaging with all accessories, and be in original condition. Holy Funk is committed to comply with Australian Consumer Law.

Shipping

Holy Funk uses a professional courier service to deliver your product/s to your door. On some occasions, smaller products may be sent using Australia Post. Someone must be present to sign for the goods. Tracking numbers will be automatically emailed to customers once the order have been dispatched. All items in your order will be shipped together in one shipment.

Deliveries occur Monday to Friday. Holy Funk does not offer a weekend delivery service at this time. Unless specifically advised or pre-arranged, all products are delivered using a one man service. Please make sure you contact us prior to making a purchase if you require a premium 2 man delivery service (additional charges may apply). Delivery is to ground floor and the driver will bring your product/s to your front door. 

For your convenience, on the day your order is scheduled to be delivered, enter your consignment number on the couriers website and they will estimate a delivery time range. This estimate will be no greater than 4 hours and can be as little as 1 hour. You can retrieve updated estimates throughout the day by simply tracking your consignment to within 1 hour of expected delivery time.

Once an order has been submitted, Holy Funk will contact the customer via email to provide further information about the delivery process. Before shipping your order, we will coordinate the delivery to arrive on a particular day using our couriers transit time estimator. Whilst we will endeavour to ensure customers deliveries arrive on the scheduled day, on occasion, orders may be subject to a delay in transit due to external and unforeseen circumstances. We encourage customers to track their delivery the morning of its scheduled arrival date to ensure it is in fact on board with a driver. Holy Funk void any liability arising from a delivery delay and are unable to offer compensation to customers relating to delivery delays or any other freight inconveniences that may occur. All items are shipped within 1-3 business days from the date of purchase. Estimated delivery time frames vary depending on your location.

Typically delivery time-frames:

* Melbourne 1-3 Days

* Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra 1-4 Days

* Brisbane, Gold Coast 2-5 Days

* Perth 4-7 Days

Customers should allow up to 10 business days for all other areas. 

Certain products may be classed as oversized and subsequently customers may be requested on the product page to email Holy Funk to confirm freight costs. This will be clearly outlined in the product listing. Failure to comply with this request entitles Holy Funk to amend shipping costs after the purchase has been completed. Customers will be offered a refund if the freight price is subsequently increased. 

The size, weight and fragile nature of certain products may subsequently have postage restrictions based on your delivery postcode. If Holy Funk is unable to deliver a product to your desired address, a full refund will be provided. We will endeavour to explore all possible postage options to meet our customers demands.

Shipping costs are inclusive of insurance, covering loss, theft or damage to the goods in transit. 

Customers must be present to sign for the goods at their nominated address. At the customers discretion and authorisation, goods can be left unattended at the nominated address without the need for a signature. Customers who authorise an 'authority to leave' request, void their transit insurance and Holy Funk or the courier company cannot be held liable for loss, theft or damage to the product. Holy Funk are void of any liability arising from a customers who, in error, provides an incorrect address.

Holy Funk will, in good faith, coordinate delivery to arrive on a day convenient to the customer. Holy Funk will not be held liable for any delays in delivery and cannot offer financial compensation for any delay or redelivery that may occur with our courier partners. 

Warranty

Holy Funk offers a 12 month warranty to be free from defects in materials and workmanship in accordance with Australian consumer law. Customers may be required to provide evidence(such as photos) to substantiate their warranty claim. Upon approval, Holy Funk will replace or repair the defect, at its discretion. Normal wear & tear, damage arising from abnormal use or abuse, products which have not been maintained, or have been modified and any indirect or consequential loss is not covered by the warranty. Minor variations in advertised size, colour or appearance is not covered by this warranty.

Where a customer is returning a product and does not have packaging or a box, in certain circumstances, Holy Funk may choose to send a replacement product allowing the customer to then use the packaging and box to return the damaged or faulty item. Given the customer will have two products for a short period of time, Holy Funk reserves the right to request a holding deposit to the value of the product as part of this procedure. The holding deposit will be refunded back to the customer within 3 business days of the returning product arriving back to our premises.

Unless otherwise specified, all products are intended for indoor use only. Products which have been used in an outdoor capacity, and are exposed to outdoor elements, whether undercover or covered will void the warranty. The warranty shall become void if goods are used in a commercial environment (unless approved in writing by Holy Funk), exposed directly to sunlight, subject to improper use, negligence or improper handling (ie dragging furniture).  The warranty period commences on the date the item is delivered by the courier, or the date of collection from Holy Funk. Holy Funk is committed to ensuring that your personal details and secure information is managed with the utmost care and professionalism. Holy funk will not misuse, sell, or provide your details to any third parties.

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order or subscribe to our newsletter.

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information.

What do we use your information for?

The email address you provide, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition If you elect to subscribe to our newsletter via our homepage, checkout process or manual request you may receive occasional emails comprising of company news, updates, special offers etc.

Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include an unsubscribe link in the footer of each email.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Do we use cookies?

Our website does not track any personal or sensitive information. As common across most websites, Holy Funk may collect non identifying information such as visits, demographics and page views. This information is collected solely for internal use and is general in nature.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law.

Showroom

Our showroom, located at 359 Warrigal Road, Cheltenham, Victoria 3192 is open to the public on Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm & Saturdays 11am - 2pm. Please contact us for confirmation of availability, should you want to purchase or view a specific product. 

Picking Up Your Product

Holy Funk offers a free pick up service from our warehouse/showroom situated at 359 Warrigal Road, Cheltenham, Victoria 3192. Once you have made a purchase you will be emailed and notified when your product will be ready for collection. Complete pick-up details will be provided upon purchase.

Pricing

All prices displayed or quoted by Holy Funk are in Australian Dollars and include GST. Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are fixed at the time of sale. In the case of pre-orders, the product/s will be reserved to the customer at the point of sale for the agreed amount. Subsequent fluctuations in price after the point of sale will not be retroactively applied to your order. Customers are excluded from using the 14 day money back guarantee to re-purchase the same product at a reduced price. Holy Funk reserves the right to exclude a sale.

International Orders

Unfortunately at this time, Holy Funk does not ship products overseas.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are redeemable for purchases via the Holy Funk website www.holyfunk.com.au or direct from our showroom. Gift certificates cannot be returned, refunded, cancelled or redeemed for cash after purchase. Holy Funk gift certificates are valid for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase after which time the certificate will expire. Gift certificates purchased online are digital and will be emailed directly to the purchaser.

Coupon Codes & Promotional Sales

Coupon codes cannot be used on sale items already discounted or during sales/promotions. If a coupon code is used, the customer will be contacted and offered to make up the difference or accept a full refund at their discretion.

Products which are on back order may be excluded from sales promotions and/or may be reduced at an amount less than the specified percentage of the promotion.

Prices are fixed at the time of sale where the product/s will be assigned to the customer. Subsequent fluctuations in price (that occur during a sales promotion or otherwise) after the point of sale, will not be retroactively applied to your order, whether the order has been paid in part or full. Customers are excluded from using the 14 day money back guarantee to re-purchase the same product at a reduced price.

Boxing Day & Black Friday Promotions

Coupon code promotions are valid for Holy Funk products only and is exclusive of shipping charges. Coupon codes for cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively, to any existing orders or undelivered orders, including orders which have not yet been dispatched (pre-orders). Discounts will be automatically applied to your order in the checkout process by entering the relevant promo code in the field provided. Black Friday promotion ends at midnight on the 27th of November 2021 AEST. Retrospective discounts cannot be applied after this date.
